Install PlanPulse on your phone
Add it to your home screen so it opens like an app and can send notifications.
Open the app in Chrome
Go to the PlanPulse address and sign in.
Install
Tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
Turn on notifications
Open PlanPulse, go to Settings, tap Enable phone notifications and allow the permission.
Run the test
Use the “Test your reminders” checklist inside the app to confirm a real notification arrives.
Use Safari
Open the PlanPulse address in Safari. iOS 16.4 or newer is needed for notifications.
Add to Home Screen
Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Open PlanPulse from the new icon.
Enable notifications
In Settings inside the app, tap Enable phone notifications. iPhone only allows this from the Home Screen app.
PlanPulse has not been tested on iPhone yet, so treat iPhone support as unverified.
Open in Chrome or Edge
Go to the PlanPulse address and sign in.
Install
Click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install.
If notifications do not arrive
- Check that notifications are allowed for PlanPulse in your phone settings.
- Turn off battery saver for Chrome or the PlanPulse app.
- Open the app: the status banner explains if the server timer is not running.
